Preston was standing in the middle of a large open area within a grand temple somewhere randomly placed in the Nexus. It had a plain simplicity to it that reminded Preston of the monasteries back home and he felt oddly comforted by that fact. Though it was grand in size and stone work it was very sparse in any sort of decorations or the like. The rectangular room in which he stood was obviously specifically made for either large group meditation or the act in which Preston was fixing to use it for: martial arts practice. There was a balcony over looking the room on one side, and the opposite wall actually consisted of mostly columns rather than an actual wall. In between the columns it was possible to see the outside court area that the room stood adjacent to. The outside area was within the temple grounds, surrounded by a high stone wall, and was only accessible through the room Preston was in. The outside area consisted of vague pathways but most of it was covered in soft dirt and sand.
The Cleric was wearing a black Kendo uniform specific to his world and stood calmly in the middle of the large room in the temple. His head was lowered to his chest and it might could have been said that he was vaguely meditating before he performed a kata. In his right hand he held a black bokken at his side. He used an underhanded grip so that the blade was facing "backwards" in his hand. When he went into one of his practiced katas it became apparent that he held it this way on purpose, and that was how he likely fought in any sword fight. At the end of his kata he ended up back in the same place he started out from and went back into a vague meditative state.
Tucked safely out of the way in a corner was curled up the puppy Preston had been seen toting around the Nexus previously.
